This game is the greatest. I'm a 28 year old female and I had more fun with this game than any other I've played. The tracks were nice. Even went to buy some of the actual CD's I liked some of the songs so much. Looking forward to buying the rest of the game collection. LOL Might even go out and get an Xbox 360 just to be able to play the newer ones.!!!!

I bought this game because I played it at a friend's house when I was visiting him and it was very fun. This game contains Nirvana's Heart shaped box song, a favorite song of mine. I also bought this game because I am learning to play guitar and have trouble "fretting" the notes, mainly due to no feedback source. With this game, it will tell you if you're fretting right because you will either be cheered or booed for. While a real guitar is much more complicated to play, this is a good game for beginning guitarists because it really lets you stretch your fingers as if you were really playing, in sort of a simulation. This game would also work well for people who can't ever seem to play guitar or other instruments, but imagine themselves as rock stars. All in all, this is a great game, and for you gamers out there, the replay ability of this game is tremendous because you can always pick it up and play a song. Oh before I forget, make sure you love guitar solos, because all the songs emphasize the guitars (the vocals are turned down so that the guitar is heard louder than the vocals/ other instruments) and some heavy metal songs are basically all guitar. If you like drums or keyboard better, you should buy "Rock Band"Rock Band Special Edition Playstation 2 I just included the one for PS2, but they have it for xbox also. Oh last but not least, I saw them give guitar hero 1 a 10 star review(out of 10 of course) on TOONAMI, but #2 is better.

I bought this game for my four year old!! He caught on fairly easily, though I still haven't tried it!! He is five now, and is awesome at it. He loves it!!

This game rocks,the sg guitar works perfectly.Good choice of songs. A must have for anybody who likes rock.Some of the songs are kinda wierd but the other songs are great.All in all it's a great game.

My children love this game, and so do their friends. It has solidified a desire to play a musical instrament.
